UConn in the Pros December 2025

I thought my rhetorical question spoke for itself. I saw other people responded and I didn't have anything to add.
I was going to do a timeline to breakdown the situation. But I actually came across Castle’s commitment video and it says it all.

Between this and then going into the NBA combine stating he explicitly wants to play PG, it says how he felt. He didn’t want to be in the situation he was in here again, even if it won a championship.

And we all clearly see why now with the success he’s having. He’s a monster at his natural position.

Twins drafted in the Top-5 is pretty cool…
It is but the general public would have no interest. Oh cool, you guys are brothers/twins who were expected to make the NBA and you made the NBA. If someone was going to make a movie about twins do the Pouncey brothers. At least you would have some great casting and scenes for the Aaron Hernandez and Richie Incognito characters.

Someone posted that Cam and Pat both didn't play yesterday and it did seem there was something going on with the family. So that makes sense.

Same reason there would never be interest in a movie about Dominique and Gerald Wilkins, the Morris twins, the Plumlee brothers. There's nothing compelling there. There's nothing compelling about the Thompson twins story. They were considered top 10 high school players and they made it, the story about brothers who were always supposed to go to the NBA and did.

Steph and Seth Curry there's something there because they didn't get scholarship offers to major colleges coming out of high school despite having an NBA father and one of them became one of the best players ever but it also makes it far less compelling because they're sons of a really good NBA player.

This shouldn't have to be explained to Huskywarrior but here we are.
But it’s exciting because they were coached by Kevin Ollie at a fake high school and you don’t get it because you hate him!!!

Harrison Barnes has missed 17 three pointers in a row, and I swear 15 of them must be off Steph passes.

Turns out it’s not much of a stats watching game since the Spurs are going 11 deep on the front end of a back to back (and after the Cup final Tuesday). In Atlanta tomorrow and then another one with Washington Sunday.

The Spurs had the game in hand pretty early. Steph ended with 17-7 with three TOs on 7-11 shooting and 1-5 from three. One of his TOs was a dump off to Kornet which was partially bobbled but probably a hair too low to be a perfect pass. Another was a lob to Wemby that Wemby actually somehow didn't catch properly. I personally thought it was more a Wemby issue than the pass. Didn't see the third (or rather first).

First one was just a really weird 1-in-a-million unforced one where he was trying to throw an uncontested pass near the sideline to set upthe offense early in the shot clock … and a second Spurs player ran into the passing lane. Ball ended up out of bounds.

a gag job in progress by the Blazers blowing a big 4th quarter lead and then DC misses 2 FTs in OT with the Blazers clinging to a 1 point lead. Don't even understand why DC is in the game in an obvious foul situation.

Blazers get bailed out by a last second foul(suspect call) on a desperate Avidja shot attempt and make 2 FTs to win, DC would have had to wear that one if they lost but Splitter still nuts for having him out there. DC with 19/8/4/2, his defense has been a bit iffy since coming back from injury.

Gotcha, so three TOs that were more based on him being aggressive and making the right play more than what happened against OKC.

Clingan is officially averaging a double double on the season now thanks to last night. 19 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks on 6-9 FG and 2-4 3P. Could have had more, left a lot of points at the FT line (5-13) including 2 clutch ones that almost lost them the game. But is now up to 10.1 PPG and 10.1 RPG on the season

Castle continues to do well as mentioned above. 17 points, 7 assists on 7-11 shooting as the Spurs breeze to a W

Rough night for the rest of the guys. AJax and Hawkins DNP-CD. Tyrese 1-8 shooting
