The thing is… he's getting better. He started off the season struggling with turnovers (as was pointed out on this board).I think there's plenty of time but if you looked at the all-stars right now, he would be. His stats and impact are not just good for a 2nd year guy who we all love, he's been incredible objectively.
The Spurs are good, Wemby is an obvious, but he's the 2nd best player by a mile.

Then like a lot of us were saying. He just needed time and he has now had his 4th consecutive game with 10+ assists. And 2 TOs on top of it.
Sometimes guys just need to play through mistakes and learn from them. Talk about a quick learner. Sky will be the limit for him.
He's been really great and extremely fortunate to get paired up with Wemby.
Discussed in this thread.Didn't see this posted. He went for 23-10-10 in a loss to Golden State.
I suspect that's pretty rare for most teamsFirst time two Spurs had triple doubles in the same game.
There are times when he looks like the best player on the floor. He’s just a superstar plain and simple. He’s got the physical ability but more importantly the basketball IQ that makes him a star for the NBA and great for UConn! He's been really great and extremely fortunate to get paired up with Wemby.

But so much more of a winning player than Dyson, and I was a big fan of Dyson.absolutely in my top 10 favorite players. Played with a chip on his shoulder. Reminds me of Dyson that way..
I don't even think he NEEDS it to become an All-Star caliber player, but if he could just get his 3-pt shot up around 35%, he would become an absolute MONSTER. But even without a reliable 3-pt shot, he's still showing he can be an All-NBA type player. There are times when he looks like the best player on the floor. He’s just a superstar plain and simple.
