Albertus magnus 34 Ossining 27 at halftime
Re-jected! Channeling her inner Kiah Stokes.Ossining wins. AEH blocked 3 point try at buzzer.
Agreed. Meg shoots roughly 85% at the FT line, which is a good indicator of her shooting ability. Her FG shooting is in the 40-45% range. Part of that is because she draws double and triple teams. At UConn, she will draw single coverage, learn which shots to take and which to pass up, and practice her shooting. She's the #1 recruit per most sources for a reason.Walker certainly has the range to make shots from the arc. While she doesn't shoot a high percentage yet, she has good shooting form and will undoubtedly improve once she arrives in Storrs.
Espinoza-Hunter scored 32 points and added 11 boards in Ossining's title clincher Sunday (3/5).
They move on to the state regional semis next Tuesday.
Trying to keep track:
Megan and her team are in the state finals this Friday (I think that's the day).
Mikayla's team is nearing the finals.
Andi's team moved to the next level.
Charli's team is still playing.
Lexi's team was knocked out.
Is this correct? Any more details on Mikayla, Andi, and Charli?
Ah, now I recall. Thanks!Charli's team was eliminated last week.
Ossining wins 60-44! They next play Elmira in Johnson City Saturday.
