Huber struggling a bit again at the plate, but given his awesome defense and ability to take walks I'd still say he's been a nice addition to the team. 6-0 going to the bottom of the 4th.

Bottom 4th, Gallagher with a scoreless inning, faces the minimum after a line drive double play ends the inning. Gallagher with no walks and 3 strikeouts on the game so far. 6-0 UConn.

Top 5th, Garbowski with a 1 out single but that is it for the UConn offense that inning. 6-0 UConn.

.-.
Bottom 5th, a leadoff solo homer for FIU. 6-1 UConn. Gallagher gets the next 3 batters out in order. He has done well today so far.

Nice recovery by Gallagher. Hope he can give up 1 or 2 more good innings, then he can turn it over to a rested bullpen.

Ideally we score a couple more and don't have to use Willis again, leaving him available for Sunday if needed.

Always interested to see who will come out of the UConn bullpen, especially after the Friday night game.

Bottom 6th, Gallagher with a quick scoreless inning. 6-1 UConn. Gallagher with 0 walks and 4 strikeouts on the game.

Pat with another quick inning. FIU starting to get harder contact on him, but are not stringing anything together and we are giving them no gifts besides Padilla's errors. Still 6-1, 7th inning.

More amenities, please!

Top 7th, Huber with a one out triple. Wild pitch scores a run. 7-1 UConn.

Huber hits a 1 out triple to the wall.

I like me some amenities ;) 7-1 UConn after yet another wild pitch by FIU, and this time their catcher (who has played really good baseball stopping most of these pitches in the dirt) finally lets one go by.

Gallagher back out for the 7th.

Anyone know what Gallagher's fastball velocity is for this game? I haven't heard it on the radio; maybe I missed it.

Pat escapes the 7th with no damage.

Bottom 7th, after a leadoff single, Gallagher gets the next three outs. 7-1 UConn.

Scoreless inning from Coe. Do we see another arm in the 9th or do we let Coe go out and do his thing again? If Coe pitches the 9th efficiently, everyone but him will be available tomorrow out of the bullpen...then again, Coe still hasn't given up a run this year. Good problem to have.

Dana home run! 8-1 UConn.

Sounds like there are as many UConn fans there as FIU fans. Then again FIU has had nothing to cheer for this series.

Top 9th, a Simmons double, he scores on a Fedko one out single. 9-1 UConn. Korey Morton pinch runs for Fedko.

RBI murder hound Fedko making his case for more consistent playing time today, and nails an RBI single to make it 9-1. Style points are nice for making a case to be ranked.
