I hate to have to admit it, but if losing these games hastens Diablo's inevitable departure from Storrs by even one second, I'm a fan of every team we play for what's left of this dumpster fire season (except BS College, no way I will ever root for them, even if they play ISIS).

My fear is that with realignment off the table for maybe ever, there will be no urgency to improve football.

The school, the alumni, and the football program have to show some pride. Realistically, SMU and Tulsa have no shot at going to the P5, but those schools are doing everything humanly possible to compete and gain respect.

Nonsense. Next season is a lost cause if Williams isn't at QB. We cannot win with Shirreffs and nonoby else will be on that roster. This team can't be worried about losing a year of Williams 4 years from now.
