My fear is that with realignment off the table for maybe ever, there will be no urgency to improve football.

The school, the alumni, and the football program have to show some pride. Realistically, SMU and Tulsa have no shot at going to the P5, but those schools are doing everything humanly possible to compete and gain respect.

Nonsense. Next season is a lost cause if Williams isn't at QB. We cannot win with Shirreffs and nonoby else will be on that roster. This team can't be worried about losing a year of Williams 4 years from now.
