UConn certainly needs to take the series, they need to win a lot of games the rest of the way in the regular season. One thing to keep in mind though is that sweeping a 3 or more game series is not easy in baseball at any level.

I'm aware haha. They need to sweep however.
 
Top 1st, Rispoli gets a leadoff walk, Shpur follows with a double putting 2 runners in scoring position. Daniels gets a 1 out walk to load the bases. MacArthur follows with another walk that brings in a run. 1-0 UConn.

With 1 out, Root is hit by a pitch which brings in another run. 2-0 UConn.

Padilla follows with a fielders choice ground out for the 2nd out which drives in another run. 3-0 UConn.

Biller gets a 2 out walk that loads the bases again. 3 runners are left on base. 3-0 UConn.

By the way, when the UConn women's basketball game starts around 9:30 or some time after that, I will be watching that game and I will stop doing my posts on this game.

Bottom 1st, after a 2 out hit by pitch and an infield single, Pudvar leaves 2 runners on base with the help of a nice catch by Shpur in CF for the final out of the inning. 3-0 UConn.
 
Top 2nd, Rispoli leads off with a single, Shpur follows with a double putting 2 runners in scoring position. A 1 out passed ball moves both runners up a base and brings in a run, 4-0 UConn.

With 2 outs, MacArthur and Root both get walks to load the bases. 3 runners are left on base.

It is very rare that UConn baseball under Coach Penders to have 2 lefty batters in a row in the lineup. Biller is hitting 8th, and Garbowski is hitting 9th in the batting order tonight.
 
Top 3rd, the UConn offense has a scoreless inning after a 2 out single by Rispoli. 4-0 UConn.

Top 5th, Padilla has a leadoff solo homer, 5-0 UConn.

With 2 outs, Rispoli gets a single (his 3rd hit of the game), and Shpur gets a walk. Rispoli steals 3B, and scores on a throwing error, Shpur steals 2B. 6-0 UConn.
