Top 4th, MacArthur gets a 2 out walk, his 3rd walk of the game. Ends up being a scoreless inning for the UConn offense which had 2 strikeouts that inning. 4-0 UConn.
 
Bottom 4th, after a leadoff single, Pudvar gives a a 1 out double that puts 2 runners in scoring position, Pudvar retires the next 2 batters to end up having a scoreless inning. 4-0 UConn.
 
Top 5th, Padilla has a leadoff solo homer, 5-0 UConn.

With 2 outs, Rispoli gets a single (his 3rd hit of the game), and Shpur gets a walk. Rispoli steals 3B, and scores on a throwing error, Shpur steals 2B. 6-0 UConn.

Top 6th, Root gets a 2 out single, he advances to 3B on a wild pitch and a throwing error. He is left on base. 6-0 UConn.
 
The UConn women's basketball game will be starting in about a half hour from now. When it starts, I will be watching it, and will stop doing my inning by inning posts for this game. Hopefully this game will be close to being over by that time.

MacArthur follows with a 1 out RBI single, 8-0 UConn.

With 2 outs, Padilla comes up with a 2 out double, putting 2 runners in scoring position.

Hutchinson gets the first out but leaves for Shaw after giving up 2 runs w/ men on 1st & 2nd.

Shaw gives up a 3R seeing eye double making it 8-6 w/ two outs and Pender goes to Afthim. Brady get the last out leaving 2 on base. Oof
 
I double now makes it 8-7 with 1 out in the 9th. I hate to say it, but if they let this game slip away, the season is unofficially over.

And now another walk, 1st and 2nd, 1 out

Strike out - 2 outs. Best hitter who is 0-4 up for Creighton.

Strike out to end game. Thank goodness.
