Chris Jones saying that Joe Simeone is the likely Sunday starter, unless they need him in a big situation in the first two games. I take that to mean long relief in tomorrow's game.

Yea, especially with Sunday likely getting rained out. We should do whatever we can to win today and tomorrow.

They would probably play a double header tomorrow, so I would think Simeone would go in the second game of the day if that happens.

Perfect afternoon according to CJ.
Surprising they’re playing based on weather news reports of the last few days’ deluges in the Carolinas, Charleston’s natural grass field and sea level. Storm must have scooted north of Charleston today

We can't score Winkel. Going to the bottom of the 6th, 1 on no one out.

Welp...5-3 now, 1 out and a runner on 1st. Really hope we can escape further damage.

Back from playing with the dog (a lively German Shepherd), had the radio outside with me. Dandeneau does the job out of the bullpen, getting the final out of the 6th inning. 5-3 UConn lead in the top of the 7th.

My internet is fluctuating, but it sounds like CofC's defense saved another run from coming in. Nice to see the offense have a good inning regardless.

Errors by Christian Fedko and Moriarty lead to a run for Charleston in the 7th. 6-4 with Charleston still at bat with one out and two on base.
