Charleston is 4-0 with wins vs:

UNC Asheville, 9-0
UNC Asheville, 6-5
UNC Asheville, 12-3
Charleston Southern, 7-5

Interesting that Sunday's starter is TBA. I would have assumed Simeone did o.k. Enough to get the ball a second time. Wonder if this means (i) if they don't pitch them first, someone like Wang or Haus could get the ball, or (ii) they haven't ruled out Feole pitching game 3.

I was wondering the same thing. I'm taking it as a sign Feole may indeed start, but they are waiting a couple days to make sure his arm is feeling good. Also possible that if Dunlop or Kersten has a bad start, Simeone may be used in long relief, in which case someone like Haus (who was mentioned as a possible starting candidate in a preseason interview) might get the Sunday start.

It probably depends on who and how much he uses the bullpen on Fri/Sat.

A win today would be monstrous - it sounds like CofC has only 1 reliable starter.

No Pat Wink yet...
Makes sense, no reason to rush him back. Let him fully recover. Hamstring injures can be nagging. Gozzo and Philips filled in nicely last weekend.

Still looks like a solid line-up. Hopefully Moriarity gives us something in the 9 spot.

Go Huskies. Any idea what the weather is like there? Rainy here in Atlanta.

Adventures of John Toppa and some SC wind on back to back batters leads to a 1-0 CoC lead...

Toppa has a difficult time with 2 fly balls, partially due to wind apparently. 1-0 bad guys, top 2.

Ugh...

Toppa owes Christian Fedko. Fedko bomb ties up the game w/ lead-off home run.
