Toppa owes Christian Fedko. Fedko bomb ties up the game w/ lead-off home run.

Feole could be available on Sunday out of the bullpen...will very likely be available in some capacity next weekend per Jones.

Bases loaded, 1 out for Toppa. Woodworth walked, then Prato struck out.

Toppa walks on a full count!! 2-1 Uconn, Fedko up. Bases juiced, 1 out.

Odd error after a caught pop fly gifts UConn an important 3rd run. That was fortunate...

2 outs. Still a couple ducks out there.

Kersten at 35 pitches to start the 3rd inning.

Chris Jones was talking about a possible double header tomorrow due to possible rain over the weekend.

Going to the bottom of the 3rd. Still 5-1 UConn.

Their stud pitcher is up to 60 pitches. Another good inning and he won't last much longer in this game.

Toppa has a difficult time with 2 fly balls, partially due to wind apparently. 1-0 bad guys, top 2.

Ugh...

It's hard to blame outfielders on fly balls until they start practicing outside consistently. That's what makes what we are able to achieve in baseball so amazing. The regional disadvantage is very significant and goes beyond lack of home games for two months.

Fair enough; the wind does sound pretty bad to begin with as well.
