Really nice 9th inning. Our offense came out determined to get insurance, and that allowed Wallace to be comfortable and attack their hitters. Great win.
Penders was not exactly thrilled with the effort tonight, and I don't blame him. Charleston is a good team that made mistakes of their own - I doubt they do that again tomorrow.
Funny thing is, they moved the interview to the outfield to be away from the people, vehicles, and equipment taking care of the infield, something I don't recall them doing too much of in the past. So tonight, they get to compete with the wind that was giving Toppa all sorts of problems in left field.
