For the record, I am not the one who edited the Wikipedia article above to add “Frisco” to the list of SF nicknames And while @ChinDiesel (who I suspect has called San Francisco “Frisco”) might latch on to one source, another that won’t paste easily here, lists it first while acknowledging locals don’t like it. If I'm interpreting this correctly, apparently we're playing in the Frisco bowl in Texas, but the Boneyard tailgate is being held at Alcatraz.
