If my time machine was working, I'd let you borrow it to go back a few years and tell yourself that you will be whining about the stature of the bowl game that UConn will get in 2024.
I said don’t get me wrong. You missed that part i guess. But bowling is pretty devalued. More make money if possible for the sponsors or local community than a reward for being better than average. Didn’t say i would prefer UConn not to bowl. I’ve spent a pretty penny in the last 26 years on my season’s tickets.
To be honest, I wouldn't of minded a visit from future @HuskiesFan1014 back then. They were dark days.
Next year there will be the Augie's Bowl. (You almost had to work for PW to understand. As in Augie and Ray's.)
It would be really cool to play in a bowl named after a fake pirate. Very 2024 in my mind.
Why would the Frisco Bowl be played in SF?...It's held in Frisco, TX...and no one calls San Francisco, Frisco...

Actually they do call San Francisco “Frisco” among many other nicknames. The point is, would most people have ever heard of Frisco TX or know where in Texas it is let alone host a bowl game.

Frisco TX was one of the fastest growing cities in the 2010's. I have been there for a few conventions. The Dallas Cowboys practice facility "The Star" is also in Frisco TX.
