UConn and the 2018 AAC Baseball Tournament (Updated ~ Check Schedule Change for UConn games)

Wish I could have bet my life on giving up runs this inning after they mentioned our bullpen was "pretty good"

After a Kersten 1-2-3? Not sure I like that.

I suspect that next season Kersten will be in long relief, or possibly a midweek starter. I don't think the coaching staff thinks Kersten has the stuff to go long against good power hitting teams, especially after what Houston and East Carolina did with him the last couple of weeks.

Who becomes the 3rd weekend starter? Do we have someone coming in that can fill that role?

Susi also walks, this time against the new USF pitcher. Now Feldstein up 3-0. Both of them seem to be seeing the curve really well from this guy, just spitting on it.

Edit: and isaac also walks, based loaded no outs!

Assuming Mike Burrows doesn't go pro, he would seem to be the big candidate. Penders loves to get highly regarded freshmen into the starting rotation pretty quickly (Mason Feole, Anthony Kay, Tim Cate are all prime examples). Also, don't count out Colby Dunlop when he becomes a sophomore. If he develops and becomes more consistent, he could be quite good.
