So we're now in a single elimination, 4 team tournament. I wonder when they are deciding if they are going to play the final tomorrow afternoon, or hold it for it's TV slot on Sunday.

Obviously, the way all 4 teams decide who pitches how much is depending upon knowing that.

Hopefully everyone pressed the Reset button after that ****show.

Kersten on the mound and Susi behind home-plate will determine the Huskies' fate tomorrow.

All four teams remaining in the AAC tournament will get invites into the NCAA tourney. The only real question, aside from who becomes the tournament champ, is whether or not East Carolina, UConn, or possibly even South Florida get to host an NCAA regional.

Gonna have to be a team effort tomorrow. Kersten and maybe even CJ might have to give them a couple to bridge to Wallace and PJ.

I’d feel better if someone anonymously and strategically got a papaya into the UConn dugout before the game!!! ;)

Any word on the championship being played tomorrow as well?

This morning UConn currently has an RPI of 19, South Florida is at 17. East Carolina at 13. It is probably safe to say that the winner of the UConn-South Florida game will stay in the hunt for an NCAA host seed.

This is the line-up I wanted to see. Let's go Huskies! Bats come early and often!

The final will be at Robin Roberts on ESPN News. Their first ever chain linked broadcast.

Let’s go boys!!

Yesterday Penders could afford to get Thad Phillips back in the lineup. Now he can't so it is back to the regular lineup. As for Jeff Kersten, let's see what we have today with him. He needs to be on.

Wind is blowing straight out. And we know Kersten can give up the long ball. Keep our fingers crossed.

A good team can hammer Kersten if he doesn't have pinpoint control, and even then I have to wonder. And South Florida is a good team.

Double plays always help, especially for Jeff Kersten. Makes me feel better about the first batter of the game getting on base.

And a fly ball to Stefanski ends the top of the 1st with no score. Good start for Kersten.

Atta way, Prato! He really drove that double to the wall in LF. Makes me wonder about his pro potential, because he really doesn't imo have that power ability despite being very good on the field and with speed and having what I think is an elite hit tool.

USF not hosting a regional. Didn’t apply.

Chris Jones says that South Florida did not submit a bid to host the first round of the NCAA tourney. So scratch them off as a host.

That's surprising considering they have a very good team this year and I'd think they'd want to avoid Gainesville or Tallahassee. Maybe they can draw Stetson or something.

Wild pitch scores Prato to make it 1-0 UConn in the 1st inning.

Chris Jones praising Prato's base running ability, as he was able to advance to 3B on a ground ball to short, enabling him to score on the wild pitch.

I don't understand why any school with a Top 25 RPI near the end of the season and a viable venue wouldn't bid to host. I'd be pissed if UCONN didn't.

True story. He always loses his helmet.
