We deserve to lose that is absolutely ridiculous to let some scrub with 8 IP on the year mow you down in a clutch spot like that.

Gonna have to find a way to try and steal this one later.

This what it looks like to use momentum. We got a massive double play then worked the bases loaded, only to totally botch it.

They work out of a major jam and instead of resting proceed to put the first two guys on.

Luckily we got an easy out with that pop up to slow things a tad.

USF is throwing Sacred Heart level guys at us. Incredibly sad that we have stranded so many runners.
 
I like the move to bring in wallace here. Do or die time and he's more than capable of blowing it by them and getting 2 quick outs.
 
Things have not gone well for UConn this game, but look at it this way. They are only down by one run. IF they get out of this inning allowing no runs, it is still a game. And IF UConn continues to get runners on base, there is always the chance to score. The Huskies are not out of this one yet. We need Wallace to get out of this.

I expect us to start scoring, but shutting down this offense is not a fair expectation for our staff IMO.

Like it or not it has always been the Penders way to give his guys the green light and very aggressive approach. Guys swinging for the fences with 2 strikes as opposed to looking to just make contact.
