Maybe instead of coming off the bench he can start and be like Charles Okwandu. Make a lay-up or two, let the refs take out their early foul jones on him instead of Samson. Sit at the first TO.
Serious question. Has Hurley ever said it was a "game time decision", or an injured player "may play", or it's "50/50", and then the player did play? Seems when he says things like this the guy never plays that game but then plays the next one. So my expectation is that Clingan won't play tomorrow.
Without DC I really thought that spread wud be much lower. That big doofus kalkbrenner gonna be a tuff guy to stop without him. And for the record, I think we’re the best team in the country with clingan in our lineup.I swear everyone in the country realizes we're a good team this year except for UConn fans. It's bizarre
I would lean to say no. But.......considering the ranking and gravity of the other surrounding attributes? He could be using the Willis Reed angle.Serious question. Not much experience with betting overs in basketball but won a few in football. Once in Vegas, easily went over in the third quarter so drinks were on me with my buddies. Very relaxing. You can win an over early, you can't ever win an under until the final whistle and there's often a lot of points scored in the last 2 minutes due to fouling. And then... sometimes overtime. Shudder.
I cherish Raftery callsOn the call for tomorrow:
Bill Raftery
John Fanta
Music to my ears.
Missing out on my favorite Millie Lites at Gampel. Enjoy fellas!
There’s probably no better bet in sports than betting the under in whatever game Iowa football plays in.Not much experience with betting overs in basketball but won a few in football. Once in Vegas, easily went over in the third quarter so drinks were on me with my buddies. Very relaxing.

No kalumba. I feel fine despite any analytics with shermiriener or whatever his name is.We do tend to get into rock fights with Creighton. The only time we went over that listed number was the first meeting, 76-74 Creighton W (Bouk’s 40 point game). Otherwise, 50s and 60s.
I suspect it's a good number of casual bettors who think "#1 at home? they're gonna win comfortably!"I see a lot -6.5 this morning which seems pretty high.
I’d hate to have Kalk in my ear while banging anywhere.I'd hate to have Kalk in my ear while banging down low
Will probably have to DP for this game.I’d hate to have Kalk in my ear while banging anywhere.
Last year when we blew out providence at home. It was greatWhere is this white out coming from? Haven’t seen it from UConn
This line is definitely a moving target. -6.5,-6.0,-5.5 and I saw one at -5. But that line quickly moved back to -5.5. Even if he does not play why not let DC suit up? Is there a rule against that process. He seems to be medically cleared to play has been practicing, which I have to imagine is less impact than practice then make it a coaches decision not to play. Just wondering
1) Is dressing someone you have no intention playing against the rules?
2) Does this create some type of issue mentally for the players. I would think not if they knew it was very unlikely that he was going to play.
It would seem to me that it could impact the opponent more, thinking oh no when are they going to bring in the mountain. Just a random thought that may have some specific answers.
When was that? Been here for quite a while and never heard of Park Central.Reminds me of the large platter of shells and meatballs at the Park Central Hotel in Willimantic for 95 cents. Can't remember the beer prices though.
"C'mon Danny, slow it down! You've got it won! Let the air out of the damn ball!!"Betting unders is even more perilous to your emotions.
DraftKings says 95% of moneyline and 77% of spread bets on UConn.I suspect it's a good number of casual bettors who think "#1 at home? they're gonna win comfortably!"
If I bet on this game I’d probably fade the public with the spread. Never feel good about going against Vegas.DraftKings says 95% of moneyline and 77% of spread bets on UConn.
UConn is in the parlay boost zone (favorites are more likely to have moneyline bets at -300 to -500 because DraftKings does parlay boosts all the time and caps odds at -500.
Then they should hire my wife as she has no problem saying no when I want to play.I'm guessing it's more about not wanting the player or coach be tempted to go in the game. If he's in street clothes you don't have to argue with him the whole game, and Hurley won't be tempted to put him out there when he shouldn't.

I swear everyone in the country realizes we're a good team this year except for UConn fans. It's bizarre
