Due to the coaching change UConn players can access an additional 15-day window that opened five days after Candle’s hire (so the 11th or 12th) in addition to the normal window.

Better to enter the portal early and find out later you've still got your role on the team and then recommit vs. not entering the portal and find out the new coach is "bringin his own luggage and it's Louis" and now you've no other options because it's too late to enter the portal.
They can verbal anywhere they want at anytime. Non-binding, just like a HS kid ahead of signing day. They can be flipped until they out their name on the NLI. Not sure how portal paperwork goes. Is there a Letter of Intent, or is it still the wild west after they "Commit"?
Every time I see someone mention 4 years with Ben I always have to do a double take. It's hard to believe it's been that long. I have zero issues with a kid that's been around 4 years and presumably got his degree going for a chance at a power school.
