UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

Some of them may just be testing the waters to try to find the best deal; for the guys who are unlikely to have NFL futures; it probably makes sense to grab as much money as possible, even if it means you lose some playing time by going to a bigger school.

that or just the uncertainty of a new coach. Better to enter the portal early and find out later you've still got your role on the team and then recommit vs. not entering the portal and find out the new coach is "bringin his own luggage and it's Louis" and now you've no other options because it's too late to enter the portal.

They can verbal anywhere they want at anytime. Non-binding, just like a HS kid ahead of signing day. They can be flipped until they out their name on the NLI. Not sure how portal paperwork goes. Is there a Letter of Intent, or is it still the wild west after they "Commit"?

I believe earlier in this thread a tweet was shared that said that he had entered the portal and was receiving lots of P4 interest. I know Bell was in a similar situation last year and came back but that will be very rare. Ben gave 4 solid years here and if he is looking at a big payday, I don’t blame him for going for it. I’d love to see us try and match but for a player with one year left of eligibility, I understand letting a player go to a P4. If you end up not wearing Blue and White again Ben, may you be successful wherever you go with your career.

Every time I see someone mention 4 years with Ben I always have to do a double take. It's hard to believe it's been that long. I have zero issues with a kid that's been around 4 years and presumably got his degree going for a chance at a power school.

Not sure what’s next for Evers. Rode the bench for 2 years at power teams. Played meh for half a season at UConn before getting replaced and riding the bench for the other year and a half

Grad transfer but I doubt any power teams or even the decent mid majors will have much interest in him at QB1. And I’m sure he wants to start

Lower mid major?

I think he will go to a P4 school to be a backup.
