UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

Some of it certainly matters, but I would say Edsall left Mora with more than he will be leaving for the next guy. And RE certainly wasn't poaching players and recruits on the way out. But in this era of NIL and REV sharing it's a lot easier to overcome than in the past ( see our #18 Rivals national portal ranking in 2024).

Maybe DB can add Mora's $1.5 buyout payment ( paid by COL St.) to the player pool, 😉 .... since they want upgrade their talent from Uconn's roster. Either way I guess it better financially than having to pay a guy like Diaco $5mil just to leave with the chit show he left behind.
Will players take staggered payments? The $1.5 million is being paid monthly through 2028.

To put a positive spin on it, there is plenty of opportunities for running backs

If I were UConn, I would not be above offering some primo $$ to Colorado State's top players who are still on the roster, specifically their top linebackers Owen Long and top 4 star LB in waiting Cannon Valenzuela.

It's deleted now?
Still there?

Mel should look at happened with Durell this year at Auburn, only 57 yards and 3 carries. Grass ain’t always greener.
But I believe he got paid a significant amount of money. Running backs NFL careers are very short. Need to maximize earnings in college.

Robinson got hurt and only played in 2 games this season. Would have undoubtedly had a much better year had he not missed time

Not saying he’s not great because he was at UConn. Think backs really benefit from Sammis O Line. Remember Evers running real well until injured.

Probably not wrong, but even before he got injured in the Baylor game he had 1 carry.

Our coaching issue is only part of the challenge here. This is no holds barred free agency, so if you feel you have value in the market you will test that market. UCONN will pitch the kids they would like to keep and make dollar offers and the rest they will simply wish the best. A lot of this is about maximizing dollars. Sad, but that is where we are.......

19 yards per carry! Not too shabby!
