UConn 2026 Outbound Portal Transfers (*No transfer speculation until announced/posted*)

Was Edwards and accidental ommission?

I desperately want to keep both as well. I think Neider may be easier to keep than Vereen since he's a CT native. But I think Cam has to be at the top of my list, personally.

No. RB is the easiest position to backfill.

I would love to keep Murphy if he still has eligibility left. I know he was honored on senior day but that doesn’t mean much anymore in terms of eligibility. I think he can be a stud for us and a major weapon for whoever is QB next season.

Just a hunch but I bet Neider goes to CSU. If Sammis is the guy or retained as OC, maybe he comes back.

I'm hoping a lot of these guys are just testing the waters to see what they're worth, and we can ultimately retain some of them. That feels like a pipe dream until we have a coach, but the right hire can make all the difference

Why? He was underutilized by Mora…his wife had to tell him to throw to Neider.
Neider went from walk-on to a scholarship player making important plays for us.

Idk how anyone would be able to report on what Mora and his wife talk about so I’ll leave that to you, but he was one of our most consistent receivers and Mora gave him the opportunity.

Some of this is as much as anything taking a shot to see what else is out there in a time of uncertainty. Even if you don't want to leave, finding out if there are options and how much those options are worth may help you get market value from the new guy & if you don't mesh with the new guy, you've done some leg work to start finding a new spot. I'd expect to see a ton of big names in the portal list. Some will leave, I suspect some will stay; some will probably never actually file... as under the new rules the portal window doesn't actually open until 5 days after the new coach is announced, then it lasts 15 days. This is in addition to the normal end of semester window, that opens January 2nd.

It was acknowledged by them that she did tell him that.

😂😂 CFB (and the portal) is becoming more of a clown show each passing day…

Just reposted by Oumar:

Diomande really improved as the season went on. He is a physical inside type linebacker. I am hoping he stays.
Who was the coach who found him playing in the parks in NYC? I would guess Diomande may go wherever that coach ends up.

OL and DL look pretty good. Even Murawaski has another year.

DL are mostly not big enough. Maybe 1 guy over 300lbs.
