At the end of the last game, Chris Jones was thinking Sullivan will start the upcoming game. We will see in a few minutes.

April 29th monthly subscription cancelled after this game - 3 @Villanova games, 3 @Creighton games plus 5 UConn BE Tourney games = Lg coffee @ Dunkin Donuts.

Championship game should still not be solely a streaming event.

Yup, wanted a second game today, and we got it. Nothing to be shamed of at this point, especially considering the state of the pitching staff.

Totally agree.
 
Sully not missing a lot of bats early. Adding a couple MPH next year would help him greatly.

Coming in Sullys confidence probably not at all-time high. Just needs to trust his stuff, hit his spots and he’ll be fine. Success will beget success for him.

Bottom 2nd, UConn offense goes down in order. 1-0 Xavier.

Top 3rd, Garrett Coe takes the mound.
 
Wow. Coe in for the 3rd. Surprised given that Sully did what we wanted through 2, but I’m sure they have a plan for Coe, Afthim and Willis to go 7 innings between them.

But the offense needs to get going. We’re not going to win with 3 or 4 runs.
 
Bottom 3rd, Morton with a 1 out double, first hit of the game for UConn, but he is stranded. 1-0 Xavier.

Would gladly take 3-4 runs at this point. Finally got a hit next goal get a run. Will need to keep throwing up zeros, the way our lineup is looking.
