Bottom 4th, after the Tammaro homer, Studley with a 2 out single, but that is it for the UConn offense that inning. 2-0 UConn.

Yeah, I've given up on the video for this game for today. Of course, I always listen to Chris Jones calling UConn games anyway, video or not.
 
Top 5th, a leadoff solo homer, 2-1 UConn. Have to remember the Georgetown offense resembles that of Xavier's. They both have bashers.

After the homer, Coe retires the side in order. 2-1 UConn. Coe at 60 pitches.

Bottom 5th, first 2 UConn batters reach base on a single and a walk. Padilla grounds into a double play. UConn offense leaves a runner at 3B. 2-1 UConn.

Top 6th, Coe gives up a leadoff double. A 1 out 2 run homer gives Georgetown a 3-2 lead. After a 1 out single, Coe comes out of the game, Fogell comes in to pitch. Fogell throws 1 pitch, and gets a double play to end the inning. 3-2 Georgetown.

Wow. Heck of a gamble to use your best arm here when you're down a run. The worst possible outcome is that we don't come back and win today and we use up Fogell until at least Saturday.

But getting 2 outs on your first pitch didn't hurt. Go to the bottom of the 6th, down 3-2.

Bottom 6th, Georgetown goes to the bullpen to start the inning. First 2 UConn batters reach base, but nothing comes of it as a double play ends the inning. 3-2 Georgetown.

Have I said before the BE umps suck. The same pitch was called a strike to Huber the inning before.
 
Top 7th, Georgetown loads the bases with 2 outs. Fogell gets out of it. 3-2 Georgetown. Fogell did not have the best control that inning, giving up a walk, a hit by pitch, and 2 wild pitches.
 
Bottom 7th, after the Broadhurst homer, UConn offense goes down in order, game tied at 3.

Chris Jones is convinced that UConn will make the NCAA Tournament no matter what happens during this Big East Tourney.
 
Top 8th, after the homer, Fogell leaves a runner on base. 4-3 Georgetown.
 
Bottom 8th, Smith with a leadoff single. Freeberger with a 1 out single, Smith was running on the play, and he scores to tie the game at 4, Freeberger advances to 2B on the throw. Huber with an infield single to put runners on the corners with 1 out. Studley follows with a 1 out infield single that brings in a run, 5-4 UConn. Pitching change.
