Many systems carry FS1 on basic and FS2 is a separate pay tier

To take it even further I can't even get FS2 on the sports package I have with Comcast

Finally, the ratings on FS2 are friends and family.

There's no difference really, less people get FS2 but it's not a significant number (90 million for FS1 vs 58 million for FS2). So at most 1/3 of the people are being shut out, and I'd guess the vast majority of that number are people actively choosing to not get a sports package so wouldn't be watching anyway

In addition, including the 2010 season, UConn has been in 7 of the last 11 NCAA baseball tournaments, so the Huskies are looking to make it 8 out of the last 12 today. Not bad at all.

Love the assumptions here:

32 million people are not significant

Of those people, there are no people that like sports but maybe can't afford the 10-12 bucks a month those packages charge.
 
Decent point, but a good reception by FS2 viewers will show FOX what a diamond they have with UConn.
 
Even under normal circumstances Xavier starting pitchers don't go long into games. With them playing their fourth game in this tournament, can't imagine what will go on with their pitching today.

So far, it's been nice having a pitch to contact guy that won't give anything away for free. Knowing Xavier probably will give us some more freebies, that consistency is huge.

Bottom 2, still 2-0 UConn.
