Great point on bouncing back. Many teams could get a little shellshocked being swept after handling every series until the very last one. Regaining focus is not always easy

In addition, including the 2010 season, UConn has been in 7 of the last 11 NCAA baseball tournaments, so the Huskies are looking to make it 8 out of the last 12 today. Not bad at all.

Well, including the bid UConn will get tomorrow for winning the Big East Tournament, UConn will be in 8 of the last 12 NCAA baseball tournaments. I totally agree with this post. In a world dominated by football and basketball, this team has made me more proud than any other. Great effort and tremendous success for everyone involved. Absolutely amazing accomplishment!

I give Christian all the credit in the world. As a fifth year and a third year captain of the team, he didn’t play much at all this year and lost his spot as an everyday bat in the lineup. However, he was an outstanding leader all year and still put in the work to be ready if he got his chance again. He looked as happy as anyone when celebrating. So much respect for a husky that has meant a lot to the program.
