Yeah honestly, with their pendulum-swinging game against Creighton - and that in last night's game a few more hits + and umps calls in their favor and it could've gone differently. Must be a painful ending for them.Kind of feel a bit sorry for SH, getting blown out by UConn the last four games and then a quick cup of coffee in the BE tournament. AAAAnyway you had a vg competitive team
Fully correct. But the biggest argument here when we repeat the arguments about playing football and hoops off campus is that it's depriving the students of part of their experience. Which argument, whether or not you think it is outweighed by financial considerations, is 100% true. The argument doesn't exist here as the students are home anyway.
That's all I said. I'm not even arguing for Hartford. I don't pretend to know enough about the economics of college baseball to have an opinion.
UConn considered the home team. Top 1st, Casparius faces the minimum with the help of a caught stealing throw out by Pat Winkel after a 2 out walk.
Top 3rd, Casparius with a scoreless inning. no hits, 3 walks and 4 strikeouts so far for Casparius, he is at 57 pitches.
Top 4th, Creighton with a lead off single and a 2 out hit by pitch, but Casparius strands the runners. Casparius with 6 strikeouts and 73 pitches.
