Problem with Crawford starting at pitcher is that it moves him off of 1B, and Chris Winkel out of CF. Too many moving parts in the field. Crawford could see time at the end of the game on the mound.

Love seeing Randy out there. Still remember facing him in high school. I’m a couple years older, so it wasn’t his 2x FCIAC POY final form, but even still he was formidable. Always pulling for my fellow FCIAC guys, and it’s been nice seeing Penders making inroads there the last decade. Next (and final) step is getting commits from the Chad Knight, Miles Langhorne type prospects that tend to go ACC/Vanderbilt
