The Sweet 16 is still a big deal. Look at Kansas. Since they won it 22, they haven't gotten out of the first weekend. 4 years in a row.
No we don’t. We’re in the Sweet 16.Gotta to keep in mind ucla was missing their top scorer. I know we can counter with a limited Silas and absent JStew but need to take it with a grain of salt.
I love it.Really? We're underdogs to MSU? Oh man, Hurley is going to use that all week!
It's still a very solid win for UConn, but yes they will have to clean up the sloppy unforced turnovers. I am sure the coaching staff will really emphasize that. Silas and Stewart being hurt definitely limited UConn's potential as well. Keep in mind, Bildeau (spelling) is not a good defender.Gotta to keep in mind ucla was missing their top scorer. I know we can counter with a limited Silas and absent JStew but need to take it with a grain of salt.
He saw one fall very furman it did nothing. He needs a sports psychologist. I am not trying to be mean or snarky or funny in any way-I am being totally serious. Solo is far in his own head right now it is effecting him. He just needs to see one 3 pter fall and it will go a long way for his confidence. UConn will need him to be a big contributor and he has shown he can be.
That's how it works. You go to him if the opponent can't stop or slow him down. You make sure he passes out when the opponent makes it difficult by doubling with mid major players. He did great. It opened up the outside with some manageable shots. He didn’t dominate like he did vs Furman, but this was another good Reed game. Great defense and he hit free throws early to keep us level with them.
FL and Fairfield CountyWe can figure out some wager.
Out of curiosity, where are you located?
Top 5 team on Bart Torvik since March 1. Didn't look good tonight but that was as much UConn's defense as anything. They've been very good recentlyIt's not a great UCLA team, but they did beat Michigan St last weekend in Chicago, and I believe their best played (the guy hurt tonight) didn't play in the 2nd half. Just some perspective.
Joey Brackets had us losing to UCLA and ranked 33th in the overall bracketWho are they Wally Szerbiaka for one ya I misspelled that intentionally.
I suspect Stew is going to be a monster his first game back, and then go back to normal. Seems to be how that works. And another late one. Stew might be deep on the bench due to so much time off

That’s because they have a very overrated coach who rarely does well with the supreme talent he always hasThe Sweet 16 is still a big deal. Look at Kansas. Since they won it 22, they haven't gotten out of the first weekend. 4 years in a row.
Everyone on UConn needs to wear a steel cup just because of Jeremy Fears "accidental" kicks to the groin area.Let's hope Fears doesn't intentionally hurt Demary's ankle.
Do you spend the fall up here?FL and Fairfield County
Yeah. Starting doesnt matter much. It really doesn't. We start slow often and often win. 40 minutes is a long time.Right or wrong, the starting lineup is not changing at this point. And it doesn't even really matter, Ross got 9 more minutes in a game he was in foul trouble the entire time. He's going to play big minutes regardless

It’s been their thing all season. We’re never happy. We're in the frigging sweet sixteen. We should be a lot healthier next weekend than we were this weekend and we're still one of the top half dozen teams in the country (per those expert enough to get a vote in the polls).
Why are some here so miserable?
