Could've been 5-11, but he had to throw one of those TDs twice.JF went 5/12, 2 tds, 0 picks. And it was glorious because he made UAB play defense. NE 104 yds on 15 completions; JF 70 yds on 5 completions.
After watching us for the past decade there has to be a more optimistic view LOLNo. They don’t. Good for us, and it’s great getting exciting wins, but none of the 7 teams we’ve beaten is even halfway decent.
Just the 1st half I thinkWhat a comeback!
Unfortunate that Malik Dixon-Williams got called for targeting (and will miss next game vs cuse), otherwise a terrific 2nd half by the defense!
Umm... did you not see Bell bailing Fagnano out on a badly thrown 3rd down throw that could have turned it around for UAB.Evers biggest problem is he is just not an accurate passer. Go back today and watch each guys 1st completion. Joe hits a guy in perfect stride to continue picking up yards. Evers hits the guy way behind screwing with the timing and design of the play.
I hate how Mora has handled this. Should have played both guys at least.
Should’ve been nothing. He led with his arms, a forearm to the head, but just his arms.Just the 1st half I think
Well, we got ref-rolled out of a decent chance to beat mediocre Wake Forest, or at least send the game to OT, and we led a good Duke team in the fourth quarter. So, even if our victory ledger isn't too exciting, we've come pretty close to beating a couple of ACC schools, and we still have one more shot against a pretty good Syracuse squad. After watching us for the past decade there has to be a more optimistic view LOL
It looked to me like the pass was a little behind Bell for a reason. The defender would have been in good position to knock the ball away (or worse) if Fagnano had led Bell at all.Umm... did you not see Bell bailing Fagnano out on a badly thrown 3rd down throw that could have turned it around for UAB.

I dunno. He only seems to play well when he comes on in relief. If our opponent is prepping for Evers and then Joe comes in, he seems to play really well. But when he is the starter? meh.Fagnano HAS TO BE the starter now, right!?
No attack, athletic yes.... accurate is not a word I would use to be polite.Evers, isn't a bad QB, he's accurate and athletic, but if he gets benched, it's not cause he lost his job, it's because Fagnano took it.
I hate the term garbage time but that is on me. Joe came in today in Prime Time and saved the day......If there are garbage-time "development" opportunities because HCJM believes the Evers experiment will continue into next season, then so be it. Other than that Fagnano is the man.
He also threw a dart on a 4th and goal that kept us in the game...after a completion to Bell that was ruled incomplete incorrectly. Joe was excellent tonight.Umm... did you not see Bell bailing Fagnano out on a badly thrown 3rd down throw that could have turned it around for UAB.
Did you see the TD pass Gathings? Believe your eyes. Stop lying to yourself.Umm... did you not see Bell bailing Fagnano out on a badly thrown 3rd down throw that could have turned it around for UAB.
Looking at some of their box scores shows that they are better than their record. Dilfer might really break that program backSo that's what a comeback win feels like in football?
I like that feeling.
Also -- UAB is very chirpy for a 2-7 team.
Did you not see Evers throw such a bad pass to Bell on 3rd down, he had to take a knee to bring it in thus killing the play?My response was to a post that said he only ever leads receivers in stride for YAC.
I pointed out that Bell had to dive back for that pass to save the drive.
It has nothing to do with anything else from the game.
So everyone can chill out
Through 50 minutes of FB 10pts. The last 10 minutes of the game 18pts. Draw your own conclusions.
Also, that is not what I said. Reading is fundamental. My response was to a post that said he only ever leads receivers in stride for YAC.

Umm…Fagnano got it done and threw some great passes. There is no question he deserves to lead the team.Umm... did you not see Bell bailing Fagnano out on a badly thrown 3rd down throw that could have turned it around for UAB.
Was it his 2nd or 3rd targeting? After 3 there is a one game suspension. I only remember 2, but my memory sometimes fails me.What a comeback!
