First thing I thought was his handle is way better than Vance. Looks talented.

Looks to me like a kid who grew late, and learned to play as a guard. Nice handle, fluid moves, decent looking shot. He looks like a Calhoun type recruit, that is still improving and underrated.

Thanks for posting. Looks like the 6'6 to 6'8 athletes u see so much of in the NCAAs esp in mid majors and obv high majors too that we seem to be in short supply of. Excited to have him in Storrs.

Great handle for his size - I agree with Hawk - bet he played guard most of his youth - these are the guys that create matchup headaches - I like it so far

Seems every year in D1 basketball there are freshmen who weren't highly rated recruits who make a big impact in their first year. It's time UConn has one of these. Maybe Polley is it.

I agree with HuskyHawk that some of the best big guys were kids who were small growing up, played guard and learned to dribble, pass and shoot. Then they grow a lot and keep those skills which makes the game so much easier for them. Anthony Davis was one of those kids.

I agree with the Deandre Daniels comparison. All three Freshman recruits seem top notch. The future is bright.

Well duh. My point was that it was a completely useless video.

Skills are skills. Did you you or did you not see him doing things that would cause Brimah to faceplant himself and bounce the ball off his feet, even if totally alone? Doesn't mean he's Kevin Durant, but for a 6'9" guy, his skill level is high. He needs some muscle and certainly will have weaknesses the video doesn't show, but there is some positive stuff here.

Good handle, runs just like DeAndre and is skinny like almost all our recruits.

Seems to be able to penetrate and finish with both hands. A bit of time in the weight room will certainly be useful but it looks like there are some skills there with which to work.
