Next year is going to be very interesting. Tuck will demand minutes. (on edit, I don't mean verbally, I mean by her play)Here's a link to a video of Morgan from a Thanksgiving weekend tournament. No brace.

Yes, it will be interesting. Breanna and Tuck come in, pretty much ready to contribute. Kelly is the incumbent. Tiff leaves and Kaleena should start in her place. Kelly's minutes almost certainly will come down, but so will others to make way for the two newcomers. And of course there is Moriah. Kiah and Brianna, and maybe to a lesser extent MJ will be challenged to accelerate their growth. I have 100% confidence that Geno and the coaches will figure it out.Next year is going to be very interesting. Tuck will demand minutes. (on edit, I don't mean verbally, I mean by her play)

Nice problem to have I suppose unless it leads to disatisfaction on the player's parts.Yes, it will be interesting. Breanna and Tuck come in, pretty much ready to contribute. Kelly is the incumbent. sometimes that is the case, as it was with Samarie, but her leaving had less to do with dissatisfaction with her role on the team and more with being homesick, the expectations of being part of a UCONN team, and personal issues. I can't think of a single kid who came to UCONN expecting to play minutes only to leave because they didn't.Nice problem to have I suppose unless it leads to disatisfaction on the player's parts.
Samarie, Kristen Phillips, Rash Sadiq, and then Sherwood and Robinson all left for a variety of reasons, but i'm betting none were because of lack of PT since Geno never promises that anyway...
I'm soooooo not worried about that.Nice problem to have I suppose unless it leads to disatisfaction on the player's parts.
It wasn't so much Marcie as it was her Parental Unit. What we know about why players leave is usualy whatever t6he player and coaching staff want to put out for public consumption. I know that Glenney stated publicly that she wanted more playing time and there were probably others.
that is possible. i did not go that far back. she was before 1998's TASSK force class. maybe the class of 1997? i didn't mention Kennitra Johnson either who was the class of 1999...I thought Glenney might have left due to playing time issues???
She made the teams in 2010 and 2011. I am not sure of this, though I did read it! 9th grade/FR she was ranked #1 in that class. Is this true/verifiable? E,lets chat this weekend if possible.Maybe, lol,we can figure out how to include others Hope you were able to see the game against Texas A&M.6,6 1/2,7,8,9 the key to how far we go this season.might just be to help stabilize the knee. "Bolingbrook freshman Morgan Tuck tore the ACL in her left knee during a scrimmage Saturday (june 2009)at the USA Basketball trials in Colorado.:"
by the way she went on to try out and make the team in 2010 and 2011 posting really solid numbers both times. i know i sound like a drum beater, but she's a special player and can't wait to see her suit up next year.
KJ left because she was shy and wasn't at all comfortable in the UConn fishbowl. She never uttered a word about playing time - or anything else. Tamika Williams once wisecracked that she got KJ to smile, but not talk.

i didn't mention Kennitra Johnson either who was the class of 1999...

Morgan is not conceding NPOY to Breanna. She has had 2 monster games already--40 and 38--plus another very good game. Let's see what she does at the TOC.Getting back to Morgan Tuck for just a moment, she scored 38 in Bolingbrook's in-state opener last night.
