This whole saga smacks of adults trading on the ability of a kid for their own personal gain and we can only hope he finds the inner strength to make the right choice for HIS future.
The history of his career so far is not what it should have been for so talented a player. First he got influenced to go to UMass because of her boyfriend, then the boyfriend gets pushed out after two years so he enters the portal. What's next? Hopefully it's her realizing her son should be her focus and not what's best for her boyfriend.
Tre sounds like he'd pair nicely with AS, because Tre's future is not as a center. He shoots well from three, finishes around the rim and passes and rebounds well. Those who think we should pass on him because of playing time haven't watched him play and are making way too positive assumptions about AA's health, RS's development and Samson Johnson's ability to step in and perform at a high level as a freshman.
Unless, of course, we find a better power forward..................
