This guy has a bit of Tyrese in his game. Good fit IMO. Doesn’t do much to address PG though
I really don’t want any portal players except PG insurance. That I want badly. This guy has a bit of Tyrese in his game. Good fit IMO. Doesn’t do much to address PG though
Not if Sanogo and his three defenders are clogging the middleI hear you but can he get into the lane and score? I feel like that's been a bigger problem for us than outside shooting.
While I agree with your focus, Terrance Shannon Jr. would be a perfect fit for this team.I really don’t want any portal players except PG insurance. That I want badly.
We may be in a top 5 basketball conference, and we may have as much or more recruiting clout than some schools that are considered "big time P5." But words have meaning, and P5 does not include the Big East.We are a big time P5
I’m struggling how to see how he wouldn’t get 25+ minutes. He’d be the best offensive player on the team right away besides maybe Sanogo. Jackson is so versatile that they can always play together too. While I agree with your focus, Terrance Shannon Jr. would be a perfect fit for this team.
6'6 210 with two more years of eligibility. 10.4p, 2.6r, 2a, 2 TO, 50.9 2p%, 38.4 3p%, 78.4 ft% in 2.8 attempts/game. About 40% of shots from deep in 25 mpg.
He's not a point guard, but he's got good passing numbers for a wing. His offensive profile would allow for some PG-less lineups with Jackson/Hawkins/Shannon at the 1-3.
However, I think it's moot. He's got NBA potential and my guess is he wants a high major spot where he can increase his career 25 mpg and play in a more offensive system to better showcase what he can do in the NBA. Not sure if he'd get more than 25 mpg at UConn.
If I had a guess, he'd replace Kellen Grady as the 3 at Kentucky.
He absolutely would. I’m not even sure a lineup with Jackson and Shannon at the forwards even counts as small anymore. They’re pretty buff dudes.I’m struggling how to see how he wouldn’t get 25+ minutes. He’d be the best offensive player on the team right away besides maybe Sanogo. This is a small lineup, but we would really play with some pace, and the spacing would be much better than what we got this year.
Shannon is a really good shooter shot like 38% last year from deep. Also fits our brand of toughness. He’s a good fit.Not interested in recruiting anyone who has shot less than 33% from deep at their original school. We have too many non-shooters already. Ideally, I'd like to see guys pushing 40%, but I don't want to get greedy.

The small lineup thing is overblown. Villanova is running out a lineup of 6'3", 6'4", 6'6", 6'6", and 6'8" for nearly 100% of their minutes. It doesn't effect them on defense or offense at all.I’m struggling how to see how he wouldn’t get 25+ minutes. He’d be the best offensive player on the team right away besides maybe Sanogo. Some on this board seem to think we're the little sisters of the poor. That's not how people around the country view us.We are a big time P5
Kentucky may not even be the biggest threat here. Hometown Illinois probably isYeah, that was kind of the point of my post. Kentucky is already involved.

Yeah and he’d be a great replacement for Plummer (one of my favorite players to watch this year)Kentucky may not even be the biggest threat here. Hometown Illinois probably is
wheres the other transfer tracker thread? ive only seen one-offs specific to a player and we're going to wind up with 500+ threads about each and every transfer at that rateWhy is there another thread?
