Transfer Portal Starting to Load

Haven't watched Papa Kante play at Pitt and he had low minutes and productivity, but at 6'10 235lbs he would seem like an interesting possible fit as a 3rd center for low dollar outlay. At South Kent I thought we had a dialogue with him. I thought he had potential at the time. Anybody watch him at all this year and have an opinion?

Fede Federico just entered portal in the 18th. Great energy/shot blocking 4/5 for Texas Tech. Would be a great fit to what we need
Wonder what’s going on with TT they’re one of the 10 schools with $10milly in NIL but Williams and Federico are both in the portal. They did land Lejuan Watts as a replacement for Williams.

If Alex leaves gimme Williams as our starting PF. If Alex stays gimme Federiko as our backup 4/5 altho he doesn’t take 3s so is he strictly a 5?

And the plot thickens.

I always felt a tad bit sad whenever the NCAA tournament ended in the past because I knew the college basketball season was not only finished, but we wouldn't hear a peep about college basketball until November or sometimes December.

I know the NIL structure in conjunction with the transfer portal needs some fixing for sure, but it does keep the off season interesting.

Wow, kid visiting Illinois campus tomorrow, possibly means AK going pro if Hurley reaching out.
You'd have to think the staff has a sense of where the lean is, yes. Tea leaves certainly pointing.

If Hopkins can stay healthy he makes a formidable addition to HOF coach Pitino's team. Not looking forward to playing them. Hopkins is a true gamer and leader. He'll make a good combination with him on the floor and Pitino on the sidelines. We can expect all out rock fights with them.

Always looking forward to playing anyone because real UConn Huskies don't fret or back down - especially when one can beat up on a creep like Pitino

Not the first time there has been UConn interest in Andrej. Some casual dialogues pre-Cal decision

Wise to keep a dialogue and relationship going…no one knows what the future holds

Yes, UConn offered him. But we didn't make his final 6. Maybe he's finally ready to leave the Bay Area?
