If this last year was any sign, he'll figure it out. He made lemonade out of a pack of late stage portalers last year, and got them to buy in and love playing for him. They were simply limited and always injured. They just added the Alabama forward, too... Pope brings in lots of pieces. Will be interesting to see how it all meshes.
I don’t think he’d have anything against a Big East transfer, but I don’t think that’s even relevant for a guy who wasn’t even good enough to play at Seton Hall.Until Hurley takes a BE transfer I’m assuming he won’t.
Not relevant at all - always interesting to see what BE kids go portaling, I almost assume all SH kids do.I don’t think he’d have anything against a Big East transfer, but I don’t think that’s even relevant for a guy who wasn’t even good enough to play at Seton Hall.

I don't get allocating NIL funds to a player that had ACL surgery in March but I guess they really believe he's gonna be available to play next season. ACL recoveries/rehab are trending longer for basketball players the past few years and if you're a parent why would you rush someone back that young and projected lottery?

Betsey... that could work. The one that got away.
This is interesting. I think we recruited him didn't we? His stats look...underwhelming.
I don’t think very well but he could be a Polley-type player eventuallyI liked Betsey a lot in high school recruiting, but I didn't dig into how well he played this year.
We still have someone in the Ross role. Jayden Ross. Was he? His shooting was just okay, can't pass, and isn't very good on defense.
I'd recruit him, but assume more of a Ross role.

He said in an interview that the unwritten rule of not going after players in your conference is over. I think he will consider transfers from other Big East teams.Until Hurley takes a BE transfer I’m assuming he won’t.
