He hasn't shown he can play at the highest level. I thought he would be good but he's been a bust in his two seasons.

We have the second best incoming class/portal transfers and retained 3 presumed starters (Ball, Stewart, Reed). We have a fringe All American making his decision whether to go pro or not. Seems we're in a pretty strong spot at the moment.

I am not aware of more than like 2 or 3 rosters that are better at the moment than us... and to be honest we might have the best group of guys right now of any team in the country

He was known for shooting and can't shoot.

Ok that’s good lol. Not sure you watched but Adams isn’t helping next year so guards are few and far between. Mullins more like a 3 he’ll be fine but Ball and the GA kid is about it. Reibe a nice player but more 4 so let me know our back up 5 knowing that foul trouble is a thing at the 5? We need still like it or not.

It's not alarming, but I am surprised that we don't seem to be kicking the tires on anyone. We've only been mentioned on a couple of guys lists, and I think only two were in any way serious. We don't need much, but I do think the things we need are kind of important. I wonder if the staff is looking to wait out guys who think they should be starters somewhere and see what remains.

He's another one that would be a great but unlikely "get". Kid will be wanting Starter minutes and NIL $$$. But of course, we can still hope for a wild surprise...

Makes sense. There are only so many minutes for guys that expect to be the man.

Maybe we grab a guy that didn’t get the offers he expected and is willing to be a come off the bench guy for UConn rather than a starter for a top 50 level team.

He and TJ Power need to drop down to the mid major level, get their confidence up, and try to boost their stock to come back up to high major. Both major disappointments to date
 
Another quality PG, Dallin Hall (6'4" 200, BYU). Would have 1yr eligibility. I'd guess he goes to KY as Pope coached him for 2 years. Likely looking for starter's minutes and NIL. Mormon who already did his mission.

But nice stats, seasoned vet.

Wow that’s a huge loss for them. I assumed he wouldn’t leave unless it was to the NBA. There’s probably a real path for him to be a first round pick next year

Obviously won’t fit here, but someone is gonna pick up (pay for) a really good player

He was in the rotation until his abdominal strain injury. Joey C. benefitted from that injury.

We'll still likely bring on a backup PG and depth C and either a starting 4 or backup 4 depending on Alex's decision. Former Five star Ian Jackson (UNC) from NYC in the portal.

Any UConn interest here? Didn't exactly pan out in his freshman year but he showed flashes and Carolina has coaching issues that could have hindered him.

I feel like he has Pitino and St. John's written all over him...

I’d guess Pitino gets him, also redundant with Solo and Mullins as scoring guards

I think we have our starting 2 guard for next year and three 6-4 to 6-6 wings coming in. Jackson is 6-4 so I don't see the need. Plus you know Hurley is not bringing him in and upsetting the apple cart.

I just saw that he has hit the portal. Looks like he isn't cut out for the P5 level. He was terrible at Rutgers and barely played at Nebraska.

Everyone here all scared about what happens when players leave UConn. Meanwhile, I’m thinking about how annoying it’ll be to play Jackson if he ends up at St John’s.

Rick Pitino went after him last year even though UNC had the inside track and from what I read gave UNC a scare.
