I’m a bit confused by this comment. Arkansas is going to be very good again next year. They’ve made 3 straight Sweet Sixteens and two Elite Eights in the past 3 years. Why is Musselman a fraud? Because he takes his shirt off?
He is doing a. Great job. Portal magician and 2 5 stars again this year. He is animated like hurley. Best player blew out knee early last year or far better ending

X and Creighton have filled backcourt holes well.

X still has some front court work to do, if they can.

Cause picks up Chance Westry which is good for them I guess.

Arkansas seems like a dumpster fire just switch out the entire roster year in and out. Was a big Mussleman fan early on but he seems like a fraud like so many others now.
He's definitely a good coach but offering every guy in the portal doesn't sound like a good plan if that's what he plans on doing going forward.

ehhhh Ark went 9 deep this year and lost 6 of those 9 guys. imo Davis was their 3rd best player after Anthony Black and Ricky Council who are both going pro along with Nick Smith. they are also losing all their frontcourt depth with the mitchell twins and kamani johnson. i dont see any size on their roster next year other than brazile. they will be good but they lost more nba talent than they brought in.
They have a 5 star freshman McDonalds all American center coming in

Muss is an excellent recruiter, but not a great coach. He will always underachieve as it compares to the talent on his team. Like a squid 2.0.

One of my father-in-law's favorite players. He's a HUGE NDSU fan and Rohde went off against them going for 20 pt, 5r, 3a, 5s.

A 6'6 195 point guard with legit NBA scouts attention.

Virginia also added Georgetown's Dante Harris and Merrimack's Jordan Minor (two-way big with a motor for days) via the portal.

Honestly, I can see Rohde getting more PT than Dante Harris, who I'm not a fan of.

I agree with your second point, but next year isn't just a clean slate: Arkansas returns their captain Devo Davis, arguably their best player, Trevon Brazile, a top-20 recruit from last year in Jordan Walsh, as well as two other top-100 recruits from last year. Also add two top-30 '23 guys.

That being said, Arkansas' transfer haul is insane:
  • Khalif Battle 6’5 175 SR from Temple, 17.9p, 3.6r, 1.8a, 1.0s, 35 3p%, 89.9 ft%
  • El Ellis 6’3 180 GR, 17.7p, 4.4a, 1.0s, 31.9 3p% i n36 mpg
  • Keyon Menifield 6’1 170 SO from Washington, 10p, 2.9r, 3.1a, 1.1s, 33.0 3p%, 28.7 mpg
  • Tramon Mark 6’5 195 SR from Houston, 10.1p, 4.9r, 1.1s, 32.8 3p%,
  • Jeremiah Davenport 6’7 210 GR from Cincy, 9.1p, 4.2r, 33.3 3p%, 25.6 mpg
Overall, as it stands, Arkansas' top-nine for next season is insanely good.
Super talented. Still can’t shoot

That’s true, but I think the head to head matchup in the tourney shows the difference in coaching between Hurley and Muss.
Musselman is a very good game coach. Uconn was a nightmare matchup for them. One of my buddies is an Arkansas guy so i watched most of their games. It would have been coaching malpractice if hurley lost to them. He can recruit and can coach. Refs hate him same as hurley

Ehh, I think that was a roster construction thing more than in-game coaching. Arkansas just can't shoot and Hurley was able to totally sell out to avoid penetration. Hard to really do anything as a coach to counter that.

Told y’all. Jaylon Tyson from Texas Tech just entered and KU is already on him

This is exactly what they need as a replacement for Dick. Nobody with any experience to play SF for this team. Going to play dual scoring PGs, so the wing needs some size and rebounding.

Can you layout Kansas roster as of right now? There’s no good breakdowns online.

Exactly

I really don't get Musselman's offensive philosophy. I can't see a team that shoots so poorly ever winning it all and he never goes after any shooters.

So who are the best CGs left in the portal? Just curious.
