‘04 8-0 run vs. Duke
I think it was actually a 12-0 run. They were down 75-67 with under 3 minutes left and then went on the 12-0 run before the buzzer beater 40 foot heave from Duhon. I was there and to this day I still say that game took 5 years off my life.

Honorable mentions—Ray Allen’s off balance runner to put the Huskies up for good vs Georgetown in the ‘96 Big East tourney championship game; Rip Hamilton’s game winning follow up shot to beat Washington in the ‘98 Sweet 16.
I’ve probably said this before, but I don’t like this one. That team was flawed and Ray’s shot was a bandaid on what I felt was a doomed upcoming NCAA run. Georgetown controlled that game and we squeaked out a last second win.

They won 79-78 so yeah 100%.

I mistakenly called it 8-0 run when I just meant 8 point deficit.

That run specifically that started with the Anderson corner 3 was imminent dread to a spark of hope to HOLY F2)&&)(/,()&@!;4),

I have been a uconn fan since the 2008-09 season.

1. 2011 postseason
2. Christian Vital speech
3. Jalen Adams shot vs Cincinatti

Honorable mention: Tristen Newton 4 triple doubles

And not necessarily in that order

Not quite iconic, but worth a shout:

When I think “iconic moment” I think of a freeze frame in time, not necessarily entire games…

1) “We shocked the world”

2) Kemba’s stepback

3) Ray Allen game winner over AI

HM 4) Tate George The Shot

HM 5) “This is what happens when you ban us”

That's what I am confused about in this thread. How long is a moment? A moment is defined as "a very brief period of time."

Is an iconic moment one play? Or could it be an entire game? An entire game could be a "very brief period time" in the grand scheme of our following UConn for many years. Or could the moment be just the end of an entire game, which I guess is just a moment? So the very end of the national championship in 1999, when some of us shed a tear, is definitely a moment.

Inquiring minds want to know. I sound like @Hans Sprungfeld with this post. :)

1) 99
2) "We got a mismatch"
3) Hungry Huskies...the program was on death's doorstep in 2013. The next year, we kings. Shabazz also played a part in improving the lives of collegiate athletes
