Top 3 Things You Want To See Against Villanova On Wednesday Night

After Sunday's breakthrough win over Tennessee, here are my top 3 things:

1) Defense, Defense, Defense- No let up in our defense as played in our last 7 quarters. Box out please.

2) CW to rejoin the party offensively by using her drives first, pull ups second, and 3s third.

3) Evina to keep shooting and AE to keep playing hard with both watching their turnovers.

There are many more that can and should be added to this list. February is going to be very exciting!

Take Siegrest out of her comfort zone and limit her touches and game over. They will be killing themselves trying to get her the ball so will probably make a lot of turnovers. Beating Villanova is as simple as that. Now, limiting her is tough. If we had MO Jeff, no problem, but we don't. Nika could probably do well, but has to watch the fouls. She's still shaky there.

I do enjoy reading these threads - but for me, it's not so much "three specific things" as it is "incremental improvement on all fronts".

What I mean is build. To me the Providence game was a step back, regardless of who was available and who was not. That continued till midway thru Q2 in the Creighton game, then it's been improvements ever since (well, the rest of Creighton, and then Tennessee).

I'd just like to see that continue. Villanova is no slouch. They lost some games when Siegrist was out, but she's back and I don't expect this to be an easy game.
