Is there a realistic chance she would come to UConn? Would she be a good fit?

Also look at how she was utilized in those games by NC State. Sure they weren't pretty but you also need to see how their offence was (or in this case wasn't) operating. There are several posts in the ACC thread where NC State fans noted it was very 1x1 heavy by the guards. Similar to Beers at Oklahoma and how she was underutilized, it looks like a similar situation here. She needs to have the ball fed to her and getting 5 or 7 shot attempts in a game doesn't cut it.
 
In that case, we need someone down low doing the dirty work, crashing boards, freeing up Sarah, that can make an impact without needing the ball in their hands.

Like a Jana + footwork and post moves. Quite frankly Jana - this could be you 🙏.
 
Could someone re-post the Uconn Roster by year chart, or is it linked somewhere that I just haven't noticed?

And do we know definitively who of 'graduates' that have eligibility are leaving?

Yep.

I’ve seen Tilda play every game of her career, she’s shown tremendous growth in her 2 years at State. I think she is a great talent, but she also needs the right fit.

She’s not a natural center, she came in to college listed as a wing from her international playing days in Sweden. She is more comfortable playing a face up game and hovering around the perimeter. Very capable as a catch and shoot stretch type big. She’s shown some flashes of being able to put the ball on the floor and drive it to dish or score - although I can’t imagine that will ever be a strength of her game. But she’s capable of doing it.

She really excelled last year in a pick and roll setting with Saniya Rivers. For whatever reason, that was not a major feature this year in the offense. State had too many ball dominant players looking for their own offense (Zam, Zoe and Pierre). Tilda needs to be on a team who moves the ball, reverses the ball and makes the defense rotate. She can be a match up advantage at 6’6” with real offensive skill.

Defensively is where it’s tricky. Her length does affect shots and she rebounds ok. But I wouldn’t call her a shot blocker or an elite rebounder. She’s a little too nice. A little too soft. She moves well for someone her size but needs to get stronger.

If UConn needs a traditional big to bang and rebound and man the paint…that’s not Tilda. But she does have a lot of skill and in the right situation she could flourish. Some State fans hoped we were able to retain her above Pierre. It just depends on the style of play you’re aiming for.

Rumor I heard over a week ago was a team had offered her $700k and it was likely she would leave. I’m guessing 700k may be about half of States NIL for WBB so no way they could compete. I don’t agree with the sentiment that she’s chasing a bag. She got offered a bag. If she was my daughter I’d be telling her to seriously consider that too. That’s life changing money. Pretty sure TCU was the school that offered her 400k last year. Not sure who came with the bag this year, guess we’ll find out soon enough.

I wish her the best, she was an excellent teammate and representative of Wolfpack basketball.

I'd like to believe that if a player wants to come to UConn, it's the school that controls the $$$ offered, and not a demand by a player, however that might be too idealistic. I still think UConn is not trying to get caught up in the rat race that CBB has become.

Considering UConn WBB spent the most when it comes to recruiting, per this Yahoo article referencing a report from the Athletic, who really knows?

I think some this is too idealistic. South Carolina is a title contender every year - did Taniya Latson come on the cheap?

I think it’s two-fold, I think the best want to play for the best - playing for Geno or Dawn Staley or Kim Mulkey etc is a driving factor. Gaining experience from the greats in the game and at storied programs is still a draw I’m sure. However if you think players are doing that for cheap when TCU and others are handing out massive pay days, I think you’re naive. I don’t think all of these girls are just taking the most money no matter where it comes from in most cases, but I do think it has to be somewhat competitive.

If player X is offered $800k from let’s just say Kentucky and then UConn or SC offer them $200k - where are they going? Now if UConn or SC offer 500k - well maybe that’s enough to say the combination of playing at a powerhouse with a real shot for a championship makes up the difference in money. I think that’s just the new reality and it’s only going to lean more and more into that direction IMO.
 
It’s seems LSU has spent $242 million dollars the past 5 months on football and basketball players, coaches and contract buyouts. No wonder Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss.

UConn's biggest need it that 6'1" ish athletic wing / guard who can create shots for themselves and defend. Think Rivers from NC State a few years ago (but they don't grow on trees). Our guards are on the shorter side.
This girl from NC State would be interesting because if she can shoot outside and spread the floor and so can Olivia, Blanca and Sarah the spacing would be a nightmare for opponents. The goal is to find players that fill gaps we need.

I know of a player named Morgan Cheli who seems to fit your description of what UConn needs on its roster next year.

For that matter, Blanca answers your description as well.

With two slots now available, I am hoping for one of those to be filled by a dominant rebounder (with other skills as well) with a bit of an attitude on the court! Not a bully, but someone who won’t take any guff from anyone. At one point, I had hoped Yanna would be that for us but injuries derailed that before we got a chance to see what she could be. Not sure about the other slot, I’m sure Geno has a plan but my biggest wish is for some toughness!
