Congrats to Arike for passing Skylar (I'm not all that fond of Arike, but MUCH moreso than I am of Skylar). Seriously though, congrats.

Minnesota has really tightened up, and Maryland has cut the deficit to 5 in mid-4Q. Mikesell has hit 3-pointers on consecutive possessions.

VPI led Miami 58-54. Now 58 all. I'd have to look but it feels like VPI has had a lot of near misses this year.

Aisha Sheppard has been a major force for VT this game, just hit a big 3 to give VT a 3-point lead with 1:33 to play.

Yes, they've had a lot of close calls. Lost in OT to both Syracuse and NC State. Lost by 2 points to Florida State. Was way up on Virginia and then had in a horrible collapse down the stretch to lose by 4.
 
Virginia Tech up 5 with 1:13 to go. Would be a big home win to beat #14 Miami.
 
Wow, awful mental mistake by D. Mabrey. Her team's up by 5 with 1:08 to play and she fouls to put Miami on the line.
 
Final: NC State defeats Wake, 80-46. Wolfpack Women now 23-3, 10-3 ACC. Wake Forest falls to 10-16, 1-12 ACC.

NC State had 5 players reach double figures: Ace Konig, Kiara Leslie, Kai Crutchfield, Kayla Jones and for the first time, Esra McGoldrick. Elissa Cunane had 9 points and DD Rogers 8.

What a terrible collapse for the Gophers. They were up by 7 with a minute to play and did absolutely everything wrong thereafter.
