Thursday games lineup

Kaila Charles really made up from her poor performance at Iowa. She carried Maryland tonight with 29 points and 8 rebounds. Mikesell added 15 points including a couple of big 3s early in the 4th quarter to make it close.

I think we've officially seen the end of Minnesota's at-large bid chances. A win here would've put them very much in the conversation, with wins over both Syracuse and Maryland. But now their RPI is just too low and there's not enough time to make up ground.

VPI is still gotta be kicking themselves over some of those earlier ACC games that they let slip away.... Syracuse, FSU, UVA... probably NC State

Kenny Brooks can coach....they’ll get there!

I have a question about Gary Blair tonight: Will he ever not violate the coach's space rules? Vic learned from the best. Really annoying. 17-16 A & M

Indiana just tied Iowa on a THREE...59-59...6:40 left.

Kaila Charles ties the game with an uncontested layup with 6 seconds to play.
Minnesota will got a shot at a potential game-winner.

HOLY COW! Charles steals in the inbound pass and drives for the buzzer-beater layup to win the game.

Final score: Maryland 71, Minnesota 69.

What a terrible collapse for the Gophers. They were up by 7 with a minute to play and did absolutely everything wrong thereafter.

Minnesota had 3 turnovers in the last minute to give MD the game.

Iowa with a 63-62 lead but Indiana going to the line for two when play resumes at the under 5 minute timeout.

Gustafson on the bench with 4 fouls.

Miss St steadily pulling away from Ole Miss in an ugly, physical game (SEC, SEC!!).

63-43 after 3.

Virginia Tech is about to beat Miami.

Indiana with a runner...75-73. Only 4 seconds left.

Exciting 4th quarter in this game.

Iowa final shot is blocked...Indiana with a huge win. Should move them solidly into the field of 64. 75-73, Hoosiers

So much for my saying this was a boring slate.

Miami & Iowa lose
Maryland narrowly escapes
And SoCar lose at home to KY

Who wants that last #2 seed?

Huge win for Indiana. They got Ali Patberg back from injury just in time and may have just punched their ticket.

Quite the outcomes in the Big Ten.

Maryland trails the entire game vs. Minnesota, wins on a steal and buzzer-beater.
Iowa leads for most of the game at Indiana but gets caught down the stretch.
Maryland retakes the Big Ten lead.

Miss St wins @ Ole Miss 80-66.

It would be easy to be upset with the effort as a State fan (probably favored by 30+), but both teams played extremely hard.

I'm just gonna give Ole Miss credit in this one. Said it before, I think Yolett McPhee McCuin is going to be successful at OM, as much as I hate it.

They brutalized McCowan all night though, and that's concerning if the refs are not going to hold teams accountable.

ACC Standings...

Notre Dame (12-2)
Louisville (11-2)
Miami and NC State (10-3)
Florida State and Syracuse (9-4)
Clemson and UNC (8-6)
Georgia Tech (7-6)

Florida State and Miami play each other Sunday. NC State still has games remaining with UNC, Louisville and Miami.

Is it me or does the entire Tennessee bench (coaches included) look uninterested in the game?
