I'm conflicted. Part of me wants clemson to win to secure a Ncaa berth. But VPIs crowd brings so much energy to the arena..
 
I'm intrigued by the impact of this Clemson-VT game on the bubble picture. Creme has Clemson as a relatively safe #9 seed, and VT as the 6th team out. Among the 5 teams ahead of them on the outer bubble, USC just dropped out of contention with its blowout loss to Arizona, and LSU is in a fragile position after losing today. So if VT wins today, how close to the cut line does that put them?

Frankly I would love to see both teams make it in ahead of Tennessee. But it might be asking too much.

I think Clemson is probably in even with a loss. They have 2 wins over Miami and a win over Florida State. But, then again, they have a loss to Tennessee... :oops:
 
Man...I'm on the edge of my seat. Clemson with a 1 point lead on VaTech...51 seconds left. A thriller, and so far, the game of the day in Greensboro.

He hates the cold and refused to look at colleges north of the Mason-Dixon Line so we researched school in the South. My sin’s Guidance counselor gave s a list of school that included Elon. We visited and he loved it. It was a great choice for him

Clemson holds off VaTech, 80-79. But the star of the game was Taylor Emery. 35...36 points? Including a THREE at the final buzzer.
 
Virginia Tech joins the "what migh've been" club along with Utah and others.

VT had 3 crucial overtime losses: to Syracuse, NC State and Clemson. Winning just one of the those games might've been enough to get them in the tournament.
 
Now it's time for the main event. Sitting beside a couple of fsu fans.. And some tar heel fans who already let it be known that they despise Duke are sitting behind me. If you hear about a fracas breaking out at the ACC tournament....and u see a angry Duke fan with a blue shirt being led away in handcuffs.. Then u know its probably me :eek:

Ha sorry, I didn't mean to offend your town. I'm trying hard to keep an open mind :)

Any recommendations on food?
 
Auburn Down 27-23 to Bama at half. Playing really bad basketball hopefully they can turn it around in the 2nd half and start playing better basketball.

Hopefully? Naw, I'm thinking they need to lose and get left out of the tournament.

Sorry, my rule is: You lose to Tennessee twice, you're dead to me.
 
Auburn has a good defense, except their offense is rough and they don't hit wide open shots in general.

The one time I had a “Long Island Iced Tea” it was more than strong enough for me.

As an A&M fan I want Bama to win in 5 overtimes. ;)

With or without Carter, I don't think A&M should fear either team playing today.
