This last game upset me. (merged with "Delusional"...)

I am fascinated by the apparent desire of the assembled to wisecrack rather than take up the provocative issue that Doggy raises. It sure interests me! of course, the whole thing might be a send-up, but somehow, i don't think that that was his intention.

No, it was a send-up.

I wrote a piece weeks back about what those kids on the bench must be (or what they were) thinking. DD attacks the issue more frontally.

No, the person I was making fun of attacked that "issue".

I also don't have a clue what Tennessee has to do with this discussion.

The person I was making fun of was a Tennessee fan.

But I also independently raised the question on two occasions about the chemistry issues that the Tennessee Senior group has experienced and queried whether is it an example of a coach, simply not being able to reach a certain group, and if true, could it happen here and is it happening here, this season.

Who is not being reached on the UConn team? I agree that the Tennessee Senior group has had some issues. It's not happening in Storrs.

Doggy being a more esteemed member of Boneyard society, his difficult post was greeted with mirth

I was making fun of the people with this point of view about UConn.

Mine was merely ignored.

I should have made fun of you.
Sorry to complain in public

No you're not.

See, I take things too seriously!
But I think there are some questions that could be asked regarding the issue of: could it be happening here.
I'll get my thoughts together and put it in a new thread.
Sorry gang for missing the joke

The orange highlights didn't give you any clues to what this thread was about?

What time of day do you people start drinking around here?

Noon? Earlier?

In order to start drinking early in the day, ya gotta stop from the night before! No stop, no start, no problem.

Jeez - You're the only one so far. Go back re-read it and then think about who posted it - hint - not necessarily the same one that wrote it.

I could care less how Geno runs his team, BUT just don't keep up the noise about lack of depth and please, please, please, don't ever use the injury excuse. If there is an injury to a key player and he lacks the depth to fill in those voids, he only has himself to blame?

We talk about the "great developer" and "great ball movement" and the greats just go on and on. There is a method to the madness and that method is to focus ALL attention on the top 7 or 8 players, while the rest stand on the side lines and rally.

Now, it does build chemistry amongst those few and with chemistry comes good ball movement and trust among that group, so I will give credit there. However, as a player, if you think you might end up as a back up coming off the bench, I'd be careful selecting to play there. JusSayin! High fiving can be fatiguing.

But like I said, that method is risky, because it comes at the expense of having depth and also at the expense of ladies working their rear ends off in practice and not reaping the rewards of doing so.

There..I feel a Tiny bit better now.

DD - Better be careful. Some might accuse you of theft of intellectual property but somehow I don't think it would hold up in court.

Everyone knows they dislike us and we on a completely equal level dislike them, nothing new on that front. Much ado about nothing...

Remember, "It's hard to soar with the eagles in the morning after being with buzzards the night before."

Or, perhaps more appropriately, as W.C. Fields once said: "Everyone should believe in something. I believe I'll have another drink!"

to true too be true.

"It was a dark and stoormy night when decades of partially digested scents emanating from every oooozy slick and decaying booard that was Rose Wharf flooooded my still groog sooaked senses as I croossed the cargoo line of labooratory groown unperishables and to my misfoortune I fell victim to the oover easy oobloong egg."

I don't think anyone is surprised that you agree with what was written in my post considering who is the author.

Feel free to complain. I'm guessing DD will be complaining soon enough when a tiny, orange clad lawyer sues him for copywrite infringement.
Hmmmm...so is DD the reason why SOPA is working through Congress? Watch out. Big Brother might be-a shuttin down the ol' Boneyard!

your funny, I do like bashing UT quite a bit but, but it seems that doing so in almost always frowned on by the mods here, so I guess it is now okay to say that the UT wcbb team _____ and so do their fans and coaches :) Maybe we will stop hoping our other opponents have good games and that we don't blow them out because it makes for a boring game, blah, blah, blah... I for one love it when we make other teams look like me playing basketball :) Party on guys.

This thread is exactly why I can't get enough of the BY. Made my day. Good work DD.

This thread doesn't work for posters like me who visit the Nether Regions once in 3 months.

ok, I'll admit that my guilty pleasure is to go read the Summit after TN loses (which happens often ;) ) or after UConn wins (which happens basically all the time :)) as what some of them write is something else....
