But, if an athletic, Cardoza type materialized, it would be a welcome addition to spell our 6'3" warrior.A post player but I don’t think one that can make an impact, will be available
The Ivies didn’t play 2020-2021Why does she have this 3-year gap between seasons played?
MORE... appears she was on the team 4 years, but only recorded stats in 2 of them.

Soares wasn't a 2-year JUCO player who transferred. She played 4 years at an NAIA school, I believe.Who knows? Maybe there’s a hidden gem amongst JuCo players. Stephanie Soares from Iowa State is a good example.
She looks like a decent post player. But how does she help us? Do we need another 6'3" post player? This kid is going into the portal

Rebounding. Personally, girth and/or athleticism to me is more of a priority than height. An Ayoko Lee type even if she isn't the most athletic. She looks like a decent post player. But how does she help us? Do we need another 6'3" post player?
Well that explains why she has to submit a request to the NCAA for another year.Soares wasn't a 2-year JUCO player who transferred. She played 4 years at an NAIA school, I believe.
I wish she would enter the portal.Who knows? Maybe there’s a hidden gem amongst JuCo players. Stephanie Soares from Iowa State is a good example.
She would be the type of player who could make a big difference for one year, letting Jana and Ice get their feet wet before needing them to play big minutes in important games.I’m thinking Elizabeth Kitley decides to take her Covid year and help us win a championship. She’s a 6’6”, experienced post player that could step in smoothly for Dorka.

It's not just the portal. Geno has the whole world (it's a big place) to find a good fit. A lot of posters are thinking a 1 year grad transfer, but does it have to be? I'd take a real good big for 3 or 4 years.A post player but I don’t think one that can make an impact, will be available
Soares already grad-transferred once from her NAIA school to Iowa State. Don't think she would be immediately eligible if she transferred from Iowa State.I wish she would enter the portal.
I thought she played 3 years at NAIA and then transferred to Iowa State for her senior year. Regardless one question I have is if she gets the extra Covid year or not. She was not a division 1 player during the covid season. So do Division 2 or 3 players, Juco, and NAIA all get the extra Covid year, or is it just players who were in Division 1 during the covid year?Soares wasn't a 2-year JUCO player who transferred. It's going to be interesting to see if she'll get a waiver considering she played a fair portion of the season.Soares already grad-transferred once from her NAIA school to Iowa State. Don't think she would be immediately eligible if she transferred from Iowa State.
The NCAA granted all NCAA athletes active during the 2020-21 season an additional year of eligibility, regardless of Division level. Separately, the NAIA also granted an additional year of eligibility.I thought she played 3 years at NAIA and then transferred to Iowa State for her senior year. I'd agree, next years team is gonna be loaded with outside shooters, and quick forwards for rebounding!I don't think you will see UCONN take a transfer. They have a lot of players coming back and have a big class coming in. They will have a couple tall girls plus AE and I really think when you look at the team next year you will see a smaller quicker team on the floor that will cause the teams they play to change to match up. Dorka is great but I don't think you need another big to fill her spot next season when you have so much fire power coming back.
I would not be surprised to see Geno toy with full court pressure this year during the Big Dance. It’s something UConn did earlier in the season when the Huskies were reasonably healthy, as they are once again.I'd agree, next years team is gonna be loaded with outside shooters, and quick forwards for rebounding!
I think with the deep bench you'll also see Geno go back to full court pressure D!
I thought Camilla committed to Duke.
It's kinda sad, actually. I read an article in the Yale paper about how she's the captain and the leader and emotionally bonded with all her teammates and everyone looks up to her, with quotes from her all full of feels about her role on the team and the other players. Now she's just throwing that all away. Buh bye.She is coming to Durham

There are currently 7 Ivy League grad transfers listed in the transfer portal, with more to come. Among those listed are a couple of pretty decent guards, McKenzie Forbes (Harvard) & Kayla Padilla (Penn), both of whom will be playing with their current teams in the WNIT.Well if she wants to continue her basketball career, she had to transfer out due to the Ivy League Rules. She isn't turning her back on her teammates.
