Love all the PeeCee trolls on there now that there seems to be no moderation going on. Those guys crack me up.
 
It's a hot mess over there. BTW where did Fishy run off to- not a peep out of him?
 
Don't remember reading a post from him all summer? It's a free for all on the old post. Names I never saw before. Glad to be with the real Uconn fans!

.....actually, it does still say "Boneyard" in small letters, just above the first post on the main hoops board.

Seriously. Where did all those Providence fans come from? Half the posts on there have been started by PC fans.

It's pretty funny over there - there are 3 or 4 PC posters who apparently have found a place where they are king. It's kind of sad, actually - but sad in a really funny way. I simply don't get it, but it's like a car wreck to me, you can't help but slow down and look at it.
 
i don't get the PC smack talk or what th ey are going on about. is there a sane fan out there who thinks PC is a finer destination than UCONN? they haven't been to the final 4 since 1987.
 
It's like the twilight zone over there. However this new site still feels too steril or something to me....

My reaction was pretty much the same. My initial sense of violation quickly morphed into one of pity.

...it looks like there are no moderators, so those few PC guys are like 12 years olds with their parents away for the weekend....lets see what we can get away with....kids these days...
 
What better way to end TOB and fully bring this new manifestation of the Boneyard to the forefront? I have to give the PC invaders credit, they have been surprisingly persistent and pretty funny.
 
Those PC people are being asked by someone at Scout to keep that board active. It isn't working. Any UConn fans that go there are invited to come here. So no UConn fan will stay there. I'm lurking only to get credible UConn fans to this site.

I kind of agree with you on the look - too much white going on - feels like I'm up in the clouds. It'll probably take some getting used to, but something to be said about clean simplicity with websites. And I liked the feature on the old site where you can hit up the competitors really quick - I suppose until they get on the same format, it'll mean going back over there.
 
its the theme the forum uses here. it has an almost hospital steril feel. the features more than make up for it

is that really true? i didn't check but aren't there links to bring fans to the new site? or did scout delete all of them?

Nothing is pinned. There are no mods there. They removed all of our mod abilities almost immediately. I've posted the new site and I'll continue to bump it when it slips down too far. With the power issues back there, there are probably a few stragglers who don't know.

We're still working on customizing the site. Go to the Suggestions, Comments board and voice your requests and Tom will add what he can right now. I know there is an upgrade coming that will add features such as the Ignore button but do't know what else might be included. But, if somethig bothers you, by all means let Tom know by posting in the Suggestions board.
 
I am lurking so that I can gather more informational tidbits to bolster my argument that I intend to have with Scout over why they need to refund me my money. I cannot see how they expect UConn fans to pay to support a board on which PC fans are not only mods, but are using that status to try and use the UConn board as a way to elicit more discussion about PC hoops.
 
It's like one of those movies where everyone in the town turns into zombies overnight. Yeah, I'm implying that PC fans are zombies. :)

is that true? PC fans as mods on the old board? hysterical. they even started a thread on the baseball board to try to drum up traffic...

Not only does it appear to be true but the PC mods have decided that everyone reading the UConn board would not have a fulfilling life unless they could also read about PC basketball in the same place.

it's kind of brilliant in a way as several UCONN fans have been baited into posting there.

They finally took off the word "Boneyard" from the title of the men's hoops board. The word BY from the top of the site has been gone for a few days.
