I don’t think that’s a fair comparison…the Saints closed out their season with a rookie quarterback playing well and they didn’t trade away their best defensive starters midseason.You're not wrong.
Take the Saints, for instance. They were 6-11 but Shough ended the season playing really well and they won 4 of their last 5. They played tough, showed heart and have something to build on.
The only thing the Jets have going for them right now is it can't get any worse. That's pathetic.
The Jets did a have a period mid season where they looked decent…but then they trade Sauce and Quinnen…and they benched Fields and Wilson goes on IR. Hard to look good at the end of the season with those circumstances.
I think the jury is out on AG..but I don’t think everything that happened at the end of the year is on him. I do think that they decided to unofficially tank…and it’s hard to look good on the field in those circumstances.
