I put last night's game on my tablet at 5-1 Sox in the 6th. I was mostly listening to it as I prepared dinner, but it seemed like Crochet was trying to pitch to contact and get out of the inning. All of a sudden, it was 7-5 Cleveland and I though I would have a bad night, which got worse when they announced that Roman Anthony's injury was in fact an oblique. Then Ceddanne hit the homer and the Sox blew it open again in the 8th.
I have confidence that Crochet will right himself forOakland the A's and New York, but I am a bit worried about Anthony. He's day to day at the moment, but obliques are tough. He's probably out at least until the A's and possibly the Yankees. He should be back by the playoffs, but who knows how effective he'll be?
Rafaela probably goes back to the outfield, with Duran in left and Refsnyder in Right. Romy goes to 2B and Lowe plays 1B. The line up certainly loses some punch if and until Abreu (and hopefully Anthony) returns.
