I'd still take him in the 4th! Can never have to many cornersI appear to have been way off with TJ Tampa since he's still sitting there in the 4th
Yeah hoping they take him in the 4th now, or one of the RBs. Still don't have much CB depth and sounds like Phillips is more of a slot guyI'd still take him in the 4th! Can never have to many corners
I’m all for that, and are we content with the olineman we have on the roster now?Yeah hoping they take him in the 4th now, or one of the RBs. Still don't have much CB depth and sounds like Phillips is more of a slot guy
I am, wouldn't have hated if they took Haynes in the 3rd though. I think Bricillo and the FA signings will be a big improvementI’m all for that, and are we content with the olineman we have on the roster now?
Giants 100: A Night with Legends | One-Hour SpecialThe Giants 100th Celebration brought together many stars from different eras and their 4 Super Bowls. The off-season Hard Knocks off to a good start.
agreed - and the lack of protection on that play shows little improvement.Whew, rough game for DJ. That pick-6 was yuck
I mean, fair I guess. But protection always breaks down. He had way more than enough time to throw it away, as the commentators alluded to. He made the worst possible decision. Hopefully he irons this out now.agreed - and the lack of protection on that play shows little improvement.
The protection was an issue but he needed to get rid of the ball long before he was pressured in the end zone.agreed - and the lack of protection on that play shows little improvement.
The line was very good yesterday not sure what you're talking about in terms of lack of improvement. The protection was an issue but he needed to get rid of the ball long before he was pressured in the end zone.
He also underthrew Hyatt on the second pick (Hyatt should have broken that one up).
I may be the most pro-Jones Giant fan ther is but I'm not sure he is the answer.
Neither do the Giants brass. It was no surprise to anyone paying attention that he was not cut after last season. The cap hit would have been crippling, but they have an out after this year and, after the Giants tested the trade waters with the Patriots, I don't think it's going out on a limb in continuing to believe he (unfortunately for a fan of a NYG rival) will not be on the roster next season. The protection was an issue but he needed to get rid of the ball long before he was pressured in the end zone.

Personally seeing 5-12. We have a relatively tough schedule too. This is a very winnable game though, hopefully we get off to a good start.I'm sure the optimism will fade within 4 hours but right now I'm thinking 7-10 for the Giants this year
If we can't beat the Vikings we're looking at a 2-15 season.Personally seeing 5-12. We have a relatively tough schedule too. This is a very winnable game though, hopefully we get off to a good start.
I'm not sure that things are that bleak but 2-15 may not be the worst thing if:If we can't beat the Vikings we're looking at a 2-15 season.
I think the Giants have maybe the best regular uniforms in the NFL. Especially road whites. What is this? Embarrassing. You can't expect to compete seriously in the NFL when you're wearing a uni that looks like a bad Montreal Canadiens knock off...you just can't. I get the history, but they ditched em for a reason, those things are a two touchdown swing, imo.
getting monotonousGonna be another long year.
Did Drew Lock's agents leverage Sequon Barkley and a barely mediocre performance once in 2022 road playoff win into a $160M contract?Drew Lock can’t be worse, can he?
